WORSHIP
No matter WHO you are or WHERE you are on the journey, you are welcome to join us in worship. We gather as a community of faith to worship our amazing God every Sunday and on other special days as well. It's a time to sing praises, to pray for mercy, wisdom, guidance and strength for daily living. It is a time to hear God’s word & consider how it might impact our lives. It's a time to support each other and the church. It is a time to share our gifts & dedicate our living to God. We’ll save room for you!
Our faith community gathers in our Church, located on the NE corner of South Broad Street and East Prospect Street in downtown Nazareth, on Sunday mornings at 9:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. Our worship services alternate between Contemporary Worship & Classic Worship during the Summer at 9:30 a.m., June through the beginning of September.
We encourage families to worship with us. We want little ones to be engaged while also promoting a feeling of being a part of our services. Therefore, we have activity bags in the back of the Sanctuary and a table, chairs and a rocker available on the side of our Sanctuary, in our DeRemer Gallery.
Visiting for the first time? Learn more about WHAT TO EXPECT.

BAPTISM
At St. John’s United Church of Christ people are baptized either as children or adults. Baptism with water and the Holy Spirit is the mark of their acceptance into the care of Christ’s church, the sign and seal of their participation in God’s forgiveness, and the beginning of their new growth into full Christian faith and life.

CONFIRMATION
Confirmation gives our youth the opportunity to make the faith their own. The intent of the program is to provide our students with an understanding of what it means to live in the world as a Christian. When we join the church or affirm our baptism, we are making a promise to live as part of a community of faithful people. The choices we make, the options we choose, the values we hold are shaped by our understanding of what it means to live as a disciple of Jesus in community with other disciples.
