Summer Crew

Our 3rd - 5th graders meet once a month typically the first Sunday of the month from 6-7pm in the House. The emphasis of the group for 4th and 5th graders is fun and fellowship and the beginning of service projects.

It is with great sadness and regret that both our Mission Trip to Rhode Isalnd and the UCC National Youth Event have been canceled for this summer.

Our Summer Crew is a group of mostly senior high youth that take part in events during the summer. This typically includes a mission trip, Creation Music Festival and an event promoted by the Penn Northeast Conference of the United Church of Christ. (Regional or National Youth Events). By taking part in these events, our youth grow in their relationship with each other and with God; they gain independence, travel to other parts of the United States and are the "hands of Jesus". They are exposed to the teachings of inspirational speakers and the music and witnessing ofChristian bands.

The Summer Crew earns through fundraisers the necessary funds needed to participate in these events. Ages 12+

On May, 31, St. John's has the pleasure of celebrating our high school and college graduates and our Confirmands as part of the worship service. Please watch this service tor the special announcement of the St. John's Sportsmen's Scholarship winner.

Our Church School, Confirmation gatherings and Youth activities are suspended and will remain so until the Nazareth Area School Districts reopens.

Please join me in praying for each other and for all the people of the world in these challenging days. We can remain confident in God's care and love for all of us and encourage each other to take this forced interruption in our routines to reconnect with a God who is always there.

Wherever you are in your journey, we, the leaders and mentors at St. John's will provide and safe, caring and supportive environment where you, the youth, are encouraged to develop and nurture in a Christ-centered lifestyle through worship, recreation, fellowships and service.

All Youth groups offer a variety of activities to  appeal to a variety of likes and dislikes.  The young people are encouraged to invite their friends and to come as their schedule permit.  As leaders, we evaluate, eliminate and revise to keep the programs fresh and new.
