Help Needed for                        Summer Lunch Program

The Social Concerns Committee needs your help to make and serve bagged lunches to school age children Monday through Friday, the week of June 18. Volunteers are needed from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Nazareth Moravian Church.

Habitat for Humanity

Jeff Thorne and Jeff Male will be leading two work teams from St. John’s on a Faith Build project on Thursday, June 14 and Saturday, July 21. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and be willing to participate in construction and non-construction activities.

Please speak with Jeff Thorne or Jeff Male if you are interested in putting your faith into action to help people in Bethlehem. You may also choose to serve by making a monetary donation!

Let us help you plan your wedding. You do not have to be a member of St. John’s UCC.  We will provide an organist, our sanctuary, a wedding host, a minister, a marriage preparation workshop and a rehearsal.

Summer Worship Opportunities

9:30am Only (June-August) We will move to one Sunday worship service for the summer. This will be a blended worship experience.

11:00am Wednesdays Mid-week Communion Services to be held on the following days in 2018: January 3, February 14 (Ash Wednesday), May 2, July 11, and October 3.

Baptism

In the U.C.C. people may be baptized anytime from infancy through adulthood. One of the parents or sponsors should be a member in good standing of a Christian church when the one baptized is a young child.

Anyone requesting a baptism must meet with the pastor in order to finalize the date for the baptism. Baptisms are not normally scheduled on Sundays when Communion is also scheduled. Baptism requests may be made by completing the request form using the link below, or by calling the church office 610.759.0893.
